My wife's commute is about 32 miles a day and a fully charged car comes back at around 60% charge.. so about 40% is lost in a day..
What do you recommend from the below
1) Charge Every Day - Charge at 60% remaining
2) Charge alternate day - Charge at 20% remaining

Assuming wife cannot get a charge point at work. If she does .. she will charge it up.

Since we can no longer charge the car to 80% only.. what do you suggest?? The Nissan folks tell me I should charge to 100% only as the charging intelligence is already built into the system etc.
Any other strategy you can suggest??

Thanks

Daily 100% using end timer set maybe an hour after departure. You could extend the departure time until you are hitting 75% to 90% if you prefer.

+1 if you want 80%, that's a good strategy ^

My usage is similar and have no problem with every other day. (except in winter, which you don't have)
But I can charge at work, so if I need more range to go somewhere, it's not a problem.

Being charged fully every day is nice if she has an unexpected need. If your only at 100% for a short time, it wont matter, especially if you're leasing.
