Changing headlight beams

Hi,

I might import an RHD leaf to Norway (LHD). In this case I will need to convert the headlight beam patterns. Does anyone know if this is straightforward on a Leaf or not?

The same principle that applies to others cars should also work here. Instead of going though all of the headache with realigning headlight beams, which I presume can only be done by a Nissan Service Centre, how about replacing the RHD headlights with the LHD versions. Pricey, yes but much simpler.

All electrical cable should match up, unless you get your hands on a US version where you have to consider what to do with the side markers.

Actually, the Owner's Manual of the RHD LEAF has a detailed section on this, so all you need to do is to follow the instructions. Now why would that be in there? Maybe because some Brits might want to travel over to Europe and vice versa, and that the LEAF plant is based in Sunderland, UK.
