Has to do with what electric cars need to do. No epiphany, but a reasonable summary. Number three talks about climate control. The numbers are in line with what my wife and I saw this winter. What about you all?

That guy is fixated on making the car light, duh!
His background is airplanes then that figures.. efficiency is not that important since electricity is equivalent to gas at $1 a gallon.. a big cheap battery is the important part now.

Of course he did, Herm - "Adding Lightness" is exactly what RMI's Hypercar process was/is about. A larger battery isn't necessary if we can cut 1000 lbs of the car's mass and clean-up the aerodynamics...
