Automatic CARWINGS Download

Ok folks so I setup an auto-download for the "Google Maps" feed on my new MY13 and now every time my car starts I hear her voice come on and say "there is no corresponding item name. There is no corresponding item description."

Setting aside the stupidity of Nissan poorly programming their cars such that it has to make that pointless statement, how do I get her to shut up?

Apparently I didn't read the warning posted to the wiki:

WARNING: If you setup auto-download, there's no known way to get it to stop prompting you. The suggestion is to not use auto-download until a fix is available from Nissan (if ever)

Does this mean I'm screwed?

Ok, I think I solved it myself.

For others here is what you do:

1. Go to CARWINGS settings
2. Select download automatically
3. Set download interval to Never

I also reinitialized my feed list but don't know if that's necessary.

Sweet, that's better than throwing the 'revert to factory default' or resetting everything by unplugging the 12 volt.
