after driving my Leaf for a few months, decided to check out the local auto show. What a disappointment. All the ICE cars look so dated.

So I ignored most if not all ICE cars and instead looked at the hybrid and electric cars in the show.

FFE has a big battery bump in its hatchback trunk that made the Leaf feel gigantic. Hate plug jn ports on the side like the Fusion energi. The Volt felt like a prison cell. Only beautiful car was the Fisker and of course even the 2013 Leaf model S looked fine.

Guess will be next year when we can see more EV's like the Infinity LE, the BMW i3 and i8, the Mitsubishi Endeavour and the new iMiev. Also the Cadillac ELR, the VW electric cars and the Audi.

Might even consider a 2013 Leaf later this year for my wife to complement my 2011 BluSky.

Anyone else suffering with ICE car repulsion too?

I went to the Dallas auto show today. I was disappointed that Toyota didn't have ANY plug-in vehicles on display. However, Nissan had a fairly large display showing the 2013 Leaf. Ford had the biggest show of plug-ins. They had several C-Max Energi, as well as Fusion Energi, and Focus Electric. I agree the trunk space was very limited on all 3 of those. Mitsubishi had 2 i-Mievs and GM had 2 Volts on display.

Tesla was nowhere to be seen, unfortunately.

Tesla doesn't show up at most auto shows.

The never showed up to the Green Drive Expo I attended, nor the one the year after. They weren't at http://www.altcarexpo.com/exhibitor_vehicles.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; either. They weren't at the San Francisco Auto Show nor Silicon Valley (San Jose) Auto Show I attended last year.

They appear to be at Engadget Expand though per https://twitter.com/TeslaMotors/status/312962065520263169" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Toyota's at Engadget Expand w/the Rav4 EV and PiP (http://www.engadget.com/expand/sponsors/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). From http://eventmobi.com/expandsf/#!/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, you can see they have a large booth. I contemplated going but decided against it. It'd take me awhile to drive to the closest BART station, take BART, take their shuttle, etc. And, it's not free or that cheap to get in.
