The DOT at Washington State is publishing a newsletter about alternate fuels and vehicles. I've only read a couple of issues, but I think it's interesting. Here are a link:

Good find. Thanks.

But, is the Volt really eligible for the $7500 federal tax credit? I thought it was just for BEVs. :?:

Or, more precisely, there is a credit for any plugin vehicle with a battery of at least 4 kWh capacity. The credit varies from $2,500 to $7,500 depending on the capacity, with $7,500 applying to all vehicles having at least a 16 kWh capacity. And the Volt battery does have a 16 kWh capacity, even though I think only 10.5 kWh is actually usable. (Just as the LEAF has a 24 kWh capacity with only about 21 kWh usable.)
