Hi all,
How can I get some reasonable assurance that there will be funds for the $2500 rebate if I sign a lease tomorrow? I've looked at the CVRP site statistics. (http://energycenter.org/index.php/incentive-programs/clean-vehicle-rebate-project/cvrp-program-status" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false, but it seems subject to interpretation.
One reading of this is that there are $7.6M of applications pending and reserved already, and only $1.6M of funding remaining. If that's true, I'd be silly to sign a deal based on the assurance that it will be there.
Please help! The deal makes sense to me financially with the rebate, but not without. Not sure if it's just creepy salesmen trying to talk me into signing quickly...they also tried to sell me a discounted "maintenance package" for a leased vehicle...feels fishy :?
