After 7 months of ownership of my 2013 SV, and 10,000 miles, I'm happy to say I only paid around $230 to fuel the car for that duration.

I have a utility meter in my garage and it just rolled over 2000 kWh.

2000 kWH * 0.10 = $200. I'll add an additional 15% loss for charging efficiency. $200 * 1.15 = $230

2400 kWh consumed via Carwings. The 400 is via free public charging.

-4.2 miles/kWh average
-$0.10 / kWh flat rate 24x7
-Haven't touched a gas pump since March 6, 2013
-No other maintenance service was required
-<$0.03 cost per mile
-@ 100% charge I have 283 gids. 100.7% battery life

I too know exactly how much energy I've dumped into my Leaf via a 220v Modlet that measures and reports power usage through my home network/PC (I have a couple of other 110v Modlets--like on my stereo--as well). I can then check any time/date range I want for power consumed/cost: in the last 30 days my Leaf energy cost was 152*.09=$13.68 (slightly under my normal monthly total as I was away for a few days).

I'm at 3264 kWh from the wall and 13,700 miles. At my power co-op rate that electricity would have cost about $460. But it was offset by 4358 kWh of solar power generated, so my fuel cost for my LEAF was $0. (I budget the cost of the solar panels as part of the cost of buying the car except that I expect them to last longer and fuel the next EV as well.)
