It's hardly noticeable. The sub is ~3" in height and flush with the rear seats when folded. I've stowed plenty in the rear and the sub-woofer has never been an issue with space. Back on topic, OP, did you decide?

I really wanted the Around View Monitor but the Bose system was packaged together. To be honest, it doesn't sound that great. However, for $1050 it seemed reasonable.

I haven't tried my road bike, but my full suspension 29" fits if I remove the front wheel. The tires are 29 x 2.35" so they are larger circumference wise. For me, I slide the fork in first, drive side up. Anyway, your road bike will fit nicely inside.

Great post. I just completed the same analysis with SCE. I've found there's no reason to change anything, regarding rate plans. Off topic, when did you purchase your SL?
