I bought a 2" version which is still on my LEAF, even though my bike rack was 1.25". That was easily solved with a small adapter sleeve from Harbor Freight. Go for the 2". :-)

Wouldn't this whole "third party app" thing and the pending policy change have been a great topic to bring up with the new "Leaf Owners' Panel" to gauge potential reactions before announcing it to the entire owner community? Yet another missed opportunity to "do the right thing."
