Leaf Spy and Leaf Spy Pro

Would it be possible to add Android Auto support for LeafSpy Pro? The stock first gen head units are dated and suck and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay head units are pretty affordable. We can retain steering wheel controls with adapters, but those of us with SV/SLs with automatic climate control...

    Swapping 2016 Radio into 2012

Hate to bump an old thread, but would the heater controls from a 2015-2017 S work in a 2015 SL? The factory radio sucks and the climate control is my only concern when going with an aftermarket Android Auto head unit.

    Red Taillight Film Installed

I need to do that but haven't gotten around to it yet.

    Red Taillight Film Installed

I had a tint shop install it.

    Red Taillight Film Installed

I'll probably just pay the same people to vinyl wrap the door handles and front chrome part, but its up to my wife since its her car. The window tint blocks out ~50% of solar heat, so for my rear facing 18 month old, that should make her quite a bit more comfortable in the summer. She gets...

    Red Taillight Film Installed

Yea those bug the hell out of me. They'd have to pay me to put one of those on my cars.

    Red Taillight Film Installed

Lol it doesn't really bother me. I'll take it off eventually.

    Red Taillight Film Installed

Just got the tail lights covered with red film/tint. I'm not a big fan of chrome or taillights so I had this done to my wife's car. Next up is debadging, window tint and vinyl wrap on the door handles. P1110056 by tuanies, on Flickr

    OpenEVSE Basic Kit

If I didn't already have the Bosch, I'd totally get the OpenEVSE. Looks like a fun little project to assemble.

    Official Kia Soul EV thread

The battery packs are stacked with space in between for ventilation, there's a little vent under the seat that just takes air from the cabin to cool/warm the battery. Kia figured the cabin would always be at optimal comfort temp and simplifies things by taking advantage of that.

    Official Kia Soul EV thread

It had a heat pump on all versions. There's a driver mode that only blows air out of the driver side vents so it doesn't have to work as hard. The plus version has ventilated seats too.

    Official Kia Soul EV thread

I'll take lots of pics. Driving it in Dana Point at a Kia Sedona / Soul EV press event.

Official Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SUV thread

I think the Outlander concept looks way better than the Leaf. The styling direction has gone back to aggressive, which is what I liked about the older Outlander and Outlander Sport.

Bosch Level 2 EVSE Charging too fast?

I think the dash indicator is a worse case scenario and probably calculates it for say 15-amp Level 2 chargers and not the 30-amp like the Bosch is.

Swop Reverse and Drive Positions on the Stick Shift

Yea I drive a lot of different cars, the shifter is the last thing that bothers me. I don't even notice the differences half the time. The wiper stock bugs me the most though.

Swop Reverse and Drive Positions on the Stick Shift

My Mazda is the same way as well, over and up for reverse.

Swop Reverse and Drive Positions on the Stick Shift

When you make those items adjustable, there isn't a chance you'll drive forward or reverse accidentally because you didn't remember what you adjusted it to. What you're asking for would require a display of some sort to always show the current configuration where the shifter is, essentially...

Eco vs. B Mode vs. Normal

I use B mode as a type of engine brake on my wife's Leaf. Works great if you want to slow down faster than normal regen but not quite ready to tap the brakes and set off a chain reaction yet.
