It's inherent in a spline shaft design, where the torque is constantly reversed.

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

The acid text is when someone reports on the Forum how extensive and useful the Autel 906 features are when connected to a Leaf.

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

Since LeafSpy was released, few if any Forum members have complained of its inadequacies until now. Yes, it's not at the level of the Nissan Consult, but for the value there's no comparison. I and many Forum members really couldn't care less!

Please provide a link. What are the "many quality choices". Thanks

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

In the over tens years owning a Leaf, I've never had a need to "reset the brake booster zero setting", nor have I had brake booster fault codes. Please provide a datasheet link for the Autel 909 with regard to the EV systems it's capable of accessing. Based on your previous post, it appears that...

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

Gret Great! Use it and write a review. I've been using LeafSpy since shortly after its release on both my '13 & '19 Leafs. Works great for my needs. I own numerous generic OBDII scanners, five of which are Autels - none for Leaf, for the many ICEVs I'm involved with. After using LeafSpy and its...

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

Please use the Autel on a Leaf and tell us what it does. Unless you have better info, the Autel website indicates no Leaf????

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

That's not true! You can always test the functionally of an ECU once you've re-flashed it, e.g. a mode change. By the way, Autel is a Chinese company.

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

Really? Are you guessing too? Have you used the Autel on a Leaf? Furthermore, It sounds like you don't fully understand the functionally of LeafSpy. Can the Autel properly re-flash Leaf ECUs to change their functionality like LeafSpy does?

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

Are you guessing, or do you actually have the Autel and used it? If so, then tell us what you have done with it on your Leaf.

Is Leafspy better than a scan tool?

Please define the Leaf diagnostic functions of Autel 906BT, e.g. read/reset fault codes, change ECUs' modes, etc.

Can HX (battery internal resistance) be improved?

It's just a percentage of the original, when the battery was new, conductance is just like SOH which starts at 100%.

Can HX (battery internal resistance) be improved?

Thanks for your post. Based on your review of the LBC, one can conclude that by loading the HV battery with known resistor values and measuring the voltage drop, the battery's internal resistance can be determined. Then the value of Hx (conductance) is determined by the inverse of the measured...

Can HX (battery internal resistance) be improved?

It's unfortunate, given your lack of any basic electrical/electronic knowledge. The references provided should've been insightful. Here's a suggestion: 1. Take classes in "C" computer programming 2. Obtain the LBC processor memory binary file 3. Disassemble the file 4. Provide the corresponding...

Can HX (battery internal resistance) be improved?

Just like you do when testing any other battery technology, i.e. measure delta V and delta I, when the load changes - R = delta V/delta I. It's just basic BSEE first year lab class. Yes, there might be some minor terms in the relationship, but for the most part it's insignificant. Your graph is...
