I too am a new owner of a 2014 cayenne red SL. I think it is a great car so far. Have about 4000 on her so far. The radiator is part of the charger cooling system. It runs when needed. Also fans are for ac operation. I live in central North Carolina. I have gotten close to 100 miles till...
My 2014 must be a jewel. It is a cayenne red SL. It is not unusual for me to get 90 to 100 miles per charge. Yes the weather in NC has been mild. Little use of heat or ac. I do drive in Eco and b mode most of the time. So far so good. So what I can tell, the 2014 is a much better vehicle...
I am sorry that your leaf experience was not great. I have a 2014 cayenne red SL. It has proven a lot of people wrong that I have read about previously. In late February when it was so cold, my new leaf performed flawlessly. The heat pump heating system readily warmed the cabin. I set it on...
I don't use blue tooth for my phone. It would have been nice to have a mute button on the steering wheel. It would be especially nice when you have passengers and want to kill all sound. Other than that, it has been very easy geTting used to the control positions. 2014cayenne red SL. So far...
Ok I've had my leaf for close to two months. So far it's great. I have had no mechanical or driving related problems. Just enjoying the fun in driving a unique vehicle. Range if you keep your foot out of it is 85 plus miles till low battery warning. Will write posts once in awhile about...
Interesting things about your model. A lot must have been corrected with 2014's. I leased a 2014 SL. The rear windshield washer works great. Handling and overall road performance are great. Tires are Michelin. Hope they hold up. Had no charging or range issues yet. Heat pump has worked...
:D ok, I'm still learning about my 2014 leaf. In North Carolina we are suffering with an ice storm. I went outside a few hours ago, fired up the leaf, turned the defroster on. In just a few minutes, the windshield was clearing quite well. Temp was 20f outside. It did a real good job in a...
It was a friendly competition between the two. Was surprised and delighted. Am in central North Carolina. Thank goodness we don't experience the weather extremes but a few weeks during the winter.
Sounds like the other personnel there are not sharing. L2 should charge any car by lunch. Why don't you ask around and see if someone will move their car during lunch or a break?
;) well I waited and waited. Took delivery of a 2014 sl cayenne red. So far it is a great car. I pitted two dealers against each other for the exact same model and color. It worked well. So far the car is living up to the technology changes made in the 2014's. I particularly like the...
May I suggest that you go on e-bay and purchase a used watt hour meter and its base. Then have it installed in line with the outlet you use. You can read it before and after charging. That should help a lot in figuring out your part of the bill. Good luck
There is no problem using a 110 volt outlet to charge your car. In order to be safe, it should be a dedicated outlet that is the only one on the breaker. It should be on a 20 amp breaker and 12-2 size wiring used. It's kinda like running a space heater or any other large amperage 110 volt...
Not sure what Nissan needs to do, but here in North Carolina we have just been through several weeks of extreme cold. My friends 2012 LEAF SL just did 30 miles going from full charge to only one bar left. That's not good. Makes me hesitant to commit to purhase. Still looking hard at...
