Interesting comparison to Model T.

Model T was the first mass produced affordable car. No real competition at first. Model 3 has lots of ICE competition, a headwind of ICE culture, and won't be affordable in the same way, especially when Tesla goes past 200k and the fed tax credit drops off. If they had a $20-25k model, it might compare better to Model T?

The model T also decreased in price by more than two thirds, from ~$900 to under $300, while improving in quality, over its production run.

If Tesla can make a profit by selling a better car than the (discontinued) S 60 for ~$20k by ~2030, and no other BEV manufacturer can match it, then yes, Tesla will be as great a success as was Ford.

Good luck...
