LEAF Newbie in NJ

I just ordered my 2012 LEAF SL through Pinebelt Nissan in Keyport. Seems as though I'm their first. Using a local electrician to install AV's wall mounted charging dock in my garage. So much cheaper than through AV. Now comes the waiting. Has anyone else from NJ placed an order?

Just an update. The EV charging station was installed today by a local electrician without a problem. Now I just have to wait another month until I have something to plug it into.

Did he test it with a dummy load?

No. That test was not listed as required in the electrician's instructions for installation that came with the EVSE.

Invite a nearby LEAF over to visit, and test-charge for a minute.

Maybe a Dealer has a demo LEAF.
