Hi I'm not sure if my Motor Traction Assembly needs to be replaced or just my Motor Assembly. Car stalls and loud sound whenever I hit the brakes. Is there anyone in Los Angeles who repairs Nissan Leaf? Dealer wants to charge me upwards of $5000.00 and my Nissan Leaf is 2015. Not worth going to dealer.

Unless your 2015 has over 60,000 miles the drive train should be covered under warranty.

What do you mean by "stalls"? It's not obvious what the behavior actually is.

Call Nissan and have them connect you to a regional manager who will steer you to the dealership with its best mechanic to diagnose it..
