I can find numerous references to this issue here, but I can't find how to determine if a used car I'm considering--2011 Leaf, JN1AZ0CPXBT007612--has this problem.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I'd suggest calling Nissan at 877-no-gas-ev and asking them to start.
 
Go back to your other thread Martin.
People will answer your questions if you patiently wait.
Not necessary to clutter MNL with multiple threads :cry:
