I've heard of others doing this but I haven't taken the time to read the lease to determine if the EVSE is supposed to be returned. Remember that getting away with stealing and it not being stealing are two different questions.xtremeflyer said:QueenBee said:Returning your leased LEAF and have an EVSEUpgrade? I returned my leased LEAF without returning any EVSE and did not get charged for it.

So, I'd hold on to it. I plan to since I bought and not leased. I had mine maxed out with L6-30, 20Amp upgrade, and 16Amp on 110 adapter.
If you don't want to do the math, 16A on 110 is 43% faster if you consider the 300W overhead. Reason being, it's a smaller % of 16x110 vs 12x110. (1760-300)/(1320-300)=143.1%
I plan to have a second electric/partial electric and have a 20A 110V and a 30A 220 in my garage. So, total delivery of something like 6.xKwhr to two cars. Best part: paid maybe $200 for the extension to the 240 and the 20A 110 was already there for a fridge.
