LEAF added to CVRP eligible vehicle list

Good afternoon,

We are pleased to announce that the Nissan LEAF has been added to the CVRP eligible vehicle list. The vehicle will be eligible for the full $5000 rebate for Zero Emission Vehicles purchased in California.

The application process is simple:

1) On the day of ownership (day you physically get the vehicle) go to www.energycenter.org/cvrp. Go to eligible vehicles and select the LEAF.
2) Fill out the application
3) Email will be sent to you confirming rebate amount along with instructions on additional information
4) Send in additional information within 14 calendar days. PLEASE NOTE, if you neglect to send this information or send it after the 14 calendar days, your application will be canceled and you will have to resubmit a new application to qualify for the rebate. Please see the additional information required listed below:
- Copy of lease/contract
- Copy of registration (temporary or permanent)
- Proof of residency (copy of utility bill within last 3 months will do)
