Hi,

I am hoping to switch my headlights to LED's using H13's
http://www.amazon.com/OPT7-Headlight-Bulbs-Clear-Arc-Beam/dp/B00VNBDWPK/ref=sr_1_4_det?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1460569207&sr=1-4#productPromotions

Does anyone have experience with using these or similar bulbs on a 2016 SV?

Thanks,
jay

i installed these bulbs, they are very nice and bright..

but if I dont have music playing in the car i can hear the FAN.. i am guessing this should be ok?

Also i was able to shove all the wire harness inside the headlight assembly and then get the dust cover on.. I dont think there should be a problem with this..

I have seen people have drilled into the dust cover to get the harness thru.. but I tried to do it without the drilling and it worked ok.

Suggestions?

Heat can kill LED's - so I would not close them in with the cover.

I don't like the idea of depending on a tiny little fan to keep them cool - if the fan motor fails, then the bulbs probably fail. And at 7000RPM, it will be noisy, to boot.

I prefer passively cooled bulbs. They also have to left open to the air, but they are silent.
