A couple days ago I was gold, today I see I hit platinum.

In checking that, the "champion" has 59.3 mi/kWh. Obviously he's gaming the system, but I wonder how large the group of drivers is doing that.

Current status, ranked 4,905 with 4.7 mi/kWh average. First 200mi were not so great, as the dealer carelessly put on 100mi, and then I was learning how to boost it. Since I've reset it, I've averaged 5.2mi/kWh.

Nice! 'Grats on making Platinum!

I'm at 1,530 but I've been steady dropping as I run the AC more. I was as high as 811 in April. Last year, I made it to 443 before my 4BL replacement. I was -really- driving to maximize range then.

Up until the middle of June I was holding around 2000 and 5.3 mi/kwh or so per Carwings. At that point I blew a tire and replaced all 4 (had been planning on replacing them Sept/Oct). I am now just over 3100 and doing 4.5-4.9 mi/kwh.

Not particularly pleased, but hoping that as the tires wear-in my score will improve. Still managing Platinum...

Month and Year Grade Rank Energy Economy
Aug/2013 Platinum 251 6.8 miles/kWh
Sep/2013 Platinum 147 7.0 miles/kWh
Oct/2013 Platinum 144 6.8 miles/kWh
Nov/2013 Platinum 94 6.9 miles/kWh
Dec/2013 Platinum 74 6.6 miles/kWh
Jan/2014 Platinum 123 6.5 miles/kWh
Feb/2014 Platinum 98 6.6 miles/kWh
Mar/2014 Platinum 545 5.7 miles/kWh
Apr/2014 Platinum 523 5.9 miles/kWh
May/2014 Platinum 382 6.3 miles/kWh
Jun/2014 Platinum 299 6.5 miles/kWh
Jul/2014 Platinum 312 6.5 miles/kWh

I just checked Carwings account and see it still works and still reports the wrong values. The 2011 LEAF has an error in the energy economy calculation as I don't get 6.5 miles/kWh (more like 4.9) and the dealer won't fix it. There is a thread on it but I forget the bulletin number from Nissan. So not only do some game the system but some cars don't report the correct stats.

I get 4.1 to 4.2. I drive 55. On local freeway and 65 on interstate. No ac and slow starts. Pretty flat and level here. Overinflated tires. What else do you guys do? Fill the car with helium bags? :)

As long as it's safe, I drive 60 on the interstate.
