Well, I accidentally learned something cool the other day... After going through a car wash where they put tape on your rear wiper, I had a "duh" moment and ran the rear wiper without removing the tape. It moved a bit and got stuck, after which I quickly pulled over and removed the tape. When I tried the rear wiper switch a few more times, nothing happened, and I thought "I hope it's just a fuse..."

When I tried it again a few minutes later, it worked fine. Yay!

So it would seem that Nissan has wisely chosen to use a self-resetting circuit breaker on the rear wiper, and probably the front as well. Thinking about it, I suppose this is standard practice for cars, given the likelihood of ice causing the wipers to stall.

Anyway, I thought people might want to know that.
