Lease SV 2015 ... Invoice price, Really?

It's very confusing to replicate the numbers the dealership provides.
First is the Invoice worse knowing? The dealership is insisting that for a LEAF 2015 SV (MSRP 33450) that the invoice is $32108 . Really this invoice of 32108 , does it mean anything ? This is what they pay for the car .... is there a way of negotiating lower than that.. :?:

Also they provide a Nissan cash rebate of $8875.00 + a $699.95 Dealer documentation for a VPP purchase price of $22932.95 .

No. And yes.

Yes, in that the dealer "pays" the invoice price, but No in that the dealer then gets back assorted "Holdback" and "Incentive" payments. The dealer can make money selling below invoice. These payments can vary month to month, and can have thresholds: such as dealer gets $N per car sold if more than X cars are sold.

So on the last day of the incentive, you might get a really really good deal, if that is what the dealer is at (X-1) cars and needs to sell one more to reach a threshold. Send a list of dealers what you want by email, and be patient. One might suddenly come down to a price well below the others... if you buy before the end of the month.

The $22,932 price is for leasing? Or after the Federate $7.5k tax credit? What about the $2.5k CA rebate?
