36 months 2015 S Leaf in SoCal, 12k miles, 1000 down $267 per month out the door (all taxes/fees included) with VPP. Is this a good or can I do better?

Think you can do lot better than that. I just bought one in San Jose for $259/month (all included) on an 2015 SV with Premium Package. The only difference being I put down 2500 as down payment instead of 1000. Perhaps that is making the difference for you, but still I think 267 is a bit too high in your case, my $.02.
