Post interesting Nissan videos here which are totally/mostly unrelated to the Leaf or EVs.

I found this one w/on the Atsugi Nissan Technical Center at http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=gudTRgIDba0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; thanks to http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1073485_2013-nissan-altima-accidentally-released" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. The accidentally released '13 Altima was removed though.

The video was kinda neat w/some very old footage and some bits and pieces of the design, production and testing processs.

Not necessarily a Nissan video, but one that show Nissan flexing it's muscle:

And yet a certain 1972 Datsun coupe would have won that race by a full second. :lol:

The title of this thread is "Nissan non-Leaf/non-EV related videos thread".

Godzilla at the Nurburgring (R35 2012):

I have no idea what they are saying but I can make out ".... GT-R...." and ".... Nurburgring...." which is all I need.

Yep... no doubt White Zombie is turly impressive. But comparing it to a production car is apples-to-oranges. Here's more of an apples-to-apples comparison:

Plenty of tuning companies turn out 9 and even 8 second ones like the one above. Some of them being completely street legal.

And then there are the 7 second ones:

Calsonic Kansei: Supply-Side Economics:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1i_hIhgLC0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

From the Nissans I owned before, I noticed many components (where I could see a manufacturer's label) came from Calsonic. (Just like Toyotas have many components from Denso.) Until this video, I didn't realize that Calsonic gets 80% of its revenues from Nissan.

Nissan Motor Corporation - 80 Years of Moving People:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lojuHQxuCio" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - I liked this marketing video.

MY CAR FOREVER:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-LL4YMOICM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - touchy, feely video featuring a father driving his daughter from Kyoto to Tokyo (464 km)

FWIW, I've been to Japan 4x and have always enjoyed my visits there.

I've enjoyed sometimes watching higher quality YouTube videos on my 61" TV now (vs. my computer or iOS devices) now that I have a Chromecast. I previously had watched some of these via the YouTube iOS app "casting" videos to my PS3 (https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4652/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Nissan Proves Commercial Vehicle Toughness in Extreme Arizona Desert:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yrw5fXMa78" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Video mentions they put ~7500 miles/week on their van (Nissan NV 3500) and also 80K miles in 3 months.
