'The company mentions a 2020 launch date for an extended-range electric vehicle, to be produced in Turkey. The Turkish iteration of the electric 9-3 won't keep the familiar exterior, the new version of which has not been publicly revealed yet; given the relative cost of creating new sheetmetal we're expecting the final product to be almost unrecognizable by the time the first cars hit the road. We're just hoping that the dynamics of the 9-3 will still be thought of as modern in the year 2020, given that the underlying platform will be 18 years old at that point.'
