Encouraging reading, but getting from home to this network of charging points is a problem I'd like to see addressed. East-west travel across California is a problem, which may be solved by first building networks to resorts, then making secondary networks that allow approach from more than the 2 main population centers.

For example, I have the poor judgement of living in the socal desert, 35 miles east of Palm Springs. Almost any drive from here is an elevation climb of at least 2,500 feet, most include grade inclines that zap my SOC before I can access any recharging points. The main charging points are all located beyond this range. Of course, I should have stayed in San Jose.
