Will Headlights draw too much power if left on all the time

My Volvo XC70 has only one HID Bulb for high or low beam (sic). The reflector pivots when a different beam is desired.

Even the Swede's can get a bit tricky!

Heck, my 2007 Prius has a single HID bulb for both too. However, the reflector doesn't move, instead, the metal "crown" (which blocks the HID bulb from shining straight ahead) moves, exposing different parts of the reflector!

I think this kind of thing is pretty common with factory-installed HID lamps.

Folks, in reading some of the posts, it seems that there are incandescent bulbs on the Leaf? Are those the fog lights (if so equipped) or high beams perhaps?

Actually, there are lots of incandescents: High beam, parking light, map light, fog light, turn signal, backup, side marker; just to name a few... Many have changed out a number of these for LEDs...

Tom, thanks! I was thinking of the headlights pretty much. Hadn't even considered interior lighting. Thanks for mentioning that.

I know that heating and A/C are big electric users but beyond these two I would like to know what else I can control to extend range.

Use ECO all the time and 'N' whenever you can.
