Which fuse to use for power to a dash cam?

I got a Blackvue 750, and ran the power cable to the fuse panel next to the driver side door. Of the three empty slots, none had power, so I used the slot for the interior dome light (which turns out is also the fuse for all the interior lighting). Problem of course, is that now my dash cam works, but not the interior lights. Note that I used an add-a-circuit to get power from it, and my understanding is that the lights should have continued to work. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? Or perhaps, which fuse is better to tap power from?

If the add-a-circuit was in backwards and the fuse blew then the dome would not light but the dashcam would still work.
