How many electric vehicles could be gathered in Southern California, or any other area, to create a train of travelling EV's? If there were EV's instead of hybrids, they wouldn't have to keep their speed below 35 mph and still be able to claim using Zero gallons of gas.
I guess if your group were the first to try it, you'd hold the world record until someone else breaks it.

Hybrid enthusiasts set a world record Sunday in Madison for longest hybrid-vehicle parade. And the 208 vehicles involved used a total of about four gallons of gasoline.
Traveling a 2.1-mile loop from sponsor Smart Motors on Madison's West Side, and going 5 mph, most vehicles didn't even use their gas-powered engines. Toyota Priuses need to drive up to 35 mph before their gas motors turn on.
