UK price increase

Just in case anyone is here from the UK - like I am - you need to have a confirmed order for the car (not just a reservation) by the end of 28 Feb to ensure you don't get caught by the new price increase.

As of 1 March the Leaf will cost £2000 more. Bringing the price after Government incentives to at least £25990 (or $42223 @ 1.6246US$ to the £).

I notice too pricing details on the lease in the US are good only until Feb 28th 2011

perhaps a new model # and or model year to be announced

Has anyone got any idea of the percentage the price will increase in the US.

As is being discussed on our own forum, in the UK it is going up by £2000 ($3,249) which is a hefty increase.
