UCSB CalPIRG will host a Clean Car Show and press conference on Friday May 20 from 10 am – 2 pm in front of the UCEN to highlight the growing need and demand for zero-emission vehicles in California.
The Clean Car Show will feature several electric cars from different auto makers will be parked on campus to illustrate the new automobile options available to the American public and the growing industry for electric vehicles. The press conference will feature members of the local community to highlight various perspectives regarding the shift to cleaner, fuel-efficient vehicles.
