Sunshade for Windshield?

I have some spring loaded window shields that twist fold into about a 10 inch circle that stores inconspicuously between the passenger seat and console. They are freebies from work, with the company logo, so the price was right.

The reviews you've posted here have convinced me to get the heatshield. Serious help with the Texas heat would be welcomed. But I think I've had this type before and rolled up and tossed into the back seat always looked a little tacky and put them at risk of getting sat upon, bent and creased.

The heat shield sounds worthwhile while it is in the window, but where do you put it when not in use?

Shay, where did you get your Huper Optik? I've looked around the Dallas area but haven't found a reasonable quote.
