purchasing a Rav4 EV outside of CA

Interesting discussion this morning with Toyota of Plano, TX.

I spoke to a sales manager to find out if they would work with a CA dealership to seal the deal for an Rav4 EV, and he flat out said that is not doable as they are in different regions. Then I asked him if they would service them, and he said,

'Aboslutely !!. Oil changes, spark plug tuneup, anything and everything we will take care of..."

I just kind of laughed out loud and told him, I will speak to the service manager about that . He was probably a little insulted because I was laughing quite a bit.

Hopefully they will not have burned up any more Outlanders by then! :lol:

We'll probably stick with Leaf & the ICE SUV till Outlander PHEV and i3/Ininfiti LE come out next year.

Yes - if they do, they won't be selling them in the US.
