No offense, but if you really reserved the end of July, ordered in March, and get delivery next week, something is DREADFULLY wrong! Five weeks from order to delivery?? And it possibly means your car is in Long Beach now, which means it had to have been manufactured before the earthquake, so how did you get it if you ordered in March??

I've been patient to this point because I have a January order date and felt it was right that I get bumped, even though it probably will mean a reduction of the CA rebate for me. But if this order, as stated, goes through (along with a couple of other February ones I've seen but haven't mentioned) I'll finally be seriously pissed! I sure hope I'm reading something wrong.

Nissan knows, and they know how frustrated I am, and all of you are. I actually got a nice call from them today regarding one of my posts here. Sadly, that's all I can say about that.

I'll feel a little better when Nissan starts letting new orders (not reservations) start happening again - it will definitely be a signal that they don't anticipate component shortages disrupting production for the Leaf, but so far it doesn't seem like they are letting any orders back in yet.

It looks like all the ones posted since the earthquake have just been old orders that didn't get posted when they originally occurred.

Email confirming order said it will take 3-4 months from date of order for my Leaf to arrive at my dealer. This I do highly doubt, especially since I reserved the last day of reservations, plus it has to travel all the way from the west coast to Tennessee once it hits port. Plus there are tons of other people who haven't received their Leafs as of yet.
