Passenger airbag disable weight?

Nissan does not specify a weight. When the airbag light (Passenger Air Bag Off) is illuminated , the air bag is off. When the light is not illuminated the airbag is on. If you are curious, you can experiment with a child safety seat and some weights. The light will never illuminate with no weight in the front passenger seat.

Thank you for stating the obvious. Yes I know I can experience. Much like determining what an ICE MPG is. You "Could" drive and find out or....Just get an actual number from someone...
