Anyone else hear Mark Perry mention that you can plug an EV into "the dryer outlet that we all have"? Sounds to me like a slip of an early strategy that was later discarded, but could be the reason behind the 3.3kW charging limitation of Leaf.

I think he meant the charging station can go into the dryer outlet we all have.

The car can't plug directly into a 220 - it's against code.
