Nissan Connect EV For Older LEAF

My 2015 LEAD SV upgraded to 3G while under warranty. You all know the APP stopped working.

DOES IT HAVE ANY USE? I noticed there were some signal bars the other day (may be I dreamed it).

Is there anything to replace it (start stop charge, see charge %).
All the sensors and data is there, just not transmitted vis 3G cellular.
Is there some aftermarket WIFI or BLUETOOTH App?

2015 EAF SV 40K miles. 10 bars, 80 MI Range.

AT&T turned off 3G awhile ago.

OVMS is the alternative. See https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=32715. I have no experience with it so I can't help. I also sold my '13 Leaf SV with working 3G TCU in mid-2021 to Carvana. I did receive a few automated charging message emails from Nissan Connect for a bit until AT&T shut off 3G.
