Sorry I do not do facebook, but thanks for posting the event here. I do plan on stopping by on the 28th.

And they hope the EPA mandates cleaner-burning gasoline, which they say would do more than anything to clean Utah's air.

Perhaps you can educate them there is one thing that would do more.

Yes I agree that more should be done. Today I called the Division of Air Quality and asked how come the DAQ does not do more to support EV's and how come EV's are not part of future solutions to this problem.

First I left a message for the directory Bryce Bird. I let you know if he ever calls me back ( fat chance ).

Then I called Bill Reiss in the SIP Rules division and asked the same question. He at least answered the phone, but was not real helpful. He said that DAQ has several EV's in the fleet and 3 public charge stations in the parking lot. I said thanks for that, but I think they could do more. We talked for about 10 minutes going back and forth. He mostly made lame excuses for doing nothing.

He suggested that I call the Guv and talk to him instead. I told him that I had already done that and that the Guv said I should talk to the DAQ.
