I rented a Tesla last week and discovered I'm not suffering from night blindness, my headlights are just too dim.

I don't see any recent threads on LED headlights for a 2015 Leaf S.

Any recs for something easy to install and preferably not $300?

I feel your night blindness! First, avoid bulbs with blue tint. The tint reduces light output. Daniel Stern lighting has high quality street legal 9003 bulbs. I found some nice LED emitters that have since been recalled because no LED conversions are street legal in the US but these throw a good pattern from my Subaru Forester, so I'm continuing to be an outlaw. Meanwhile, keep your headlamp lenses clean and clear and consider LED auxiliary lights to put in the fog light locations.
