GGEVA Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association is participating in two charging station ribbon cutting events
on Monday, January 23, 2012
- Marin County Civic Center - 2:00 PM -- at the middle arch of the
Marin Civic Center
- City of Belvedere - 6:30 PM -- on Community Road
Charging is free at both locations and both locations are listed on
PlugShare.com
We need as many people as possible to bring EVs to these events to
demonstrate to the news media and elected officials that there are a
sufficient number of EVs in the Bay Area to justify installation of
public charging stations and to inform the people of these communities
of the benefits of EVs.

January 23, 2012 - Ribbon Cutting for County of Marin Charging Stations
The ribbon cutting for the County of Marin charging stations will take place at 2:00 PM at the middle arch of the Marin County Civic Center. Please bring your EV or plugin hybrid to this event.
January 23, 2012 - Ribbon Cutting for City of Belvedere Charging Stations
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 6:00 PM at the City of Belvedere City Hall at 450 San Rafael Avenue in Belvedere. Please bring your EV or plug in hybrid to this ceremony.
January 25, 2012 - City of Novato EV Workshop
The City of Novato will hold a community workshop to acquaint the community with the benefits of electric vehicles and solicit input on the locations for public charging stations. The workshop will be held at 901 Sherman Avenue in Novato from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There will be presentations and displays of EVs and charging stations. GGEVA members are encouraged to attend.
February 11, 2012 - Ribbon Cutting for Charging Station at North Bay Nissan
North Bay Nissan is celebrating the installation of charging stations that are free for all EV drivers. The ribbon cutting will be at 11:00AM at 1250 Auto Center Drive, Petaluma, CA 94952. Please bring your EV to this event.
March 4, 2012 - GGEVA Meeting
