Requiring the Brake-On to Start is typical, for Safety.
Pressing Start without the Brake goes to Accessory (ACC) mode, right?

The incredibly helpful manual  says the following:garygid said:Pressing Start without the Brake goes to Accessory (ACC) mode, right?
Don't even ask me how a button moves to different positions. And "On" is different from another state they call "Ready".When the power switch is pushed without depressing the brake pedal, the power switch position will change as follows.
- Push once to change to ACC.
- Push two times to change to ON.
- Push three times to change to OFF.
- Push four times to return to ACC.
- Open or close any door to return to LOCK while in the OFF position.

If you press it again, you are in "on" (headlights turn on?). Press a third time, and the car turns off again. Do I have it right?ON: This position turns on the EV (Electric Vehicle) system and electrical accessories.
