Just a plug (plug, that's a joke son)...don't forget the C-Max Energi is a plug in hybrid. It is a taller car than the Volt. I met one owner who had a Volt and a C-Max Energi and he liked the Energi better because it was roomier. You might want to check that out as a third option.
