[This as a 'heads-up' to drivers as I have found two recargo.com check-ins that state spaces are ice'd from lack-of or weak EV-Only signage. I wanted to convey the process that KOHL's Corp. expressed drivers should follow.]

The first listing
http://www.recargo.com/sites/2925" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
lead me to send a feedback message to KOHL's Corporate. The response basically states, drivers are to complain to the local store Mgr. to resolve store EVSE issues.

Another listing

had a similar scenario. Ego, the reason for this post.

Reworded from the response I got back from KOHL's Corp.:

REFERENCE NUMBER: LTK51401619788X (concerning the Vacaville, CA store)
... each store's management team to oversee their own electric vehicle parking and signage ... customers should speak directly to the store manager about concerns with the use of the spaces at the time of their visit ... cscc.escalated @kohls.com

The good thing about using the Corporate customer feedback page
http://www.kohlscorporation.com/customer_service/email/default.asp?a=e-mail-choosepath&f=storeexperience" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
is that everything is documented and they pass on the issues to the store's manager. In essence, by using the Corp. Feedback method you are lighting a fire under both. So, when talking to the store manger gets you no where, you now have an alternative route to seek action.

The real problem is: Corp is the one that designed and laid-out the EVSE implementation. It is the store that is then saddled with problems of their mistakes: no EV-Only signage, spaces incorrectly located in prime parking spot real estate areas, etc.

We all know, ice'd EV spaces are useless to the driver that needs/wants a charge, it sends the wrong message to the non-plug-in vehicle public to see anyone can park in those spaces, and is a huge waste of both KOHL's installation costs, and the use of tax-payer DoE funding.

I ran in to the same problem at the Kohl's in Santa Clarita, 4 spots capable of being reached by the charger, no signage so all were full. Luckily person came out as I was pondering what to do, but I can't fault them for parking there as there is no signage.
