Isn't using the Leaf really killing trees?

Where are you seeing "Trees" on the Leaf dash?

I have a martini-glass indicator on mine, sometimes with an arch over it.

I thought that was my "happy hour" indicator, no?

Now that I look at it closer, you are correct. By golly that wavy thing over the top is the Vermouth. Perhaps a little more than Churchill liked since he merely waved his Martini towards France and considered it enough Vermouth.
