Yesterday I wrote to the contact email on the EZ-charge.com site asking about what appeared to be a less-than-up-to-date map at https://www.ez-charge.com/stations/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Today I got a reply from a representative at NRG/eVgo... (Why?) -- If they're running the No-Charge-to-Charge program, it's not surprising that ChargePoint withdrew from it (and I'm surprised that others didn't as well).

Finally, I believe that I understand the difference between the "EZ-charge" and "NCTC" programs, but it is a bit confusing (especially for newcomers), isn't it? I think the intention and implementation of these programs are a step in the right direction, but the "Chademo" network still has a long way to go, imho.

That would make sense, because when they mysteriously deactivated my EZ-Charge card, one of the EZ-Charge reps speculated that it's because I applied for a separate NRG eVgo card (although the sequence of events was backwards), and then, after they re-actived the EZ-Charge card, no separate NRG eVgo card showed up.

Also, there's this, where they mix and match their logos:

I believe the idea for the overall program came from NRG eVgo and they worked with Nissan and the others to get it going, and are running the program. My understanding is that getting one card to operate all those stations was the easy part of the deal :)
