Initial Login to CarWings

I purchased a 2015 Leaf this week. When I signed up for CarWings online i chose my username/password
Lets call them
User_UID
User_passwd

Then I registered my Leaf, and it gave me
nissan_uid
nissan_passwd

and idenfies the User_uid as a pin number

The problem is that no combination of UID (nissan or user) and password works to log my carwings to my galaxy III smart phone

Which combination do I use to connect the two?
No support contact is listed.

1. Which is the UID/Password for my smart phone
2. Any idea WHY Nissan would have you set a UID and password then assign you one
