How to program the garage door opener

Hello,

Quick question -- how do I program it to open the garage door.

I held the two outer buttons to reset.
Then I pressed the garage door opener button and the button I wanted to program sinultaneously. The light turned red and stopped flashing. Then I released both buttons.

But the button was not programmed. I pressed the button but it did not open the garage.

Sounds like you have hit a "rolling code" signal. See step 5 in the owner's manual. You have to find the program button on the door opener unit. Press it, and then quickly press the home link button again.
