OK, since we are wishing here...
I would like to see some sort of simple, dimmable, heads-up display reflected on the driver's windshield.
Allow it to be configurable, so the driver could tailor it to whatever info, for example:
*Navigational info
*Discharge/regen rates
*Speed
*Range
*warnings
I would rather have a ghost image in front of me, than to have to take my eyes off the road (even momentarily) to look at info down on the center of the dash.
I think Prius got it partially right by putting some useful screens in the eyebrow, but I think that can be improved.
I got rear-ended this summer (totalling my first 2010 Prius) because the driver following me was distracted and not watching traffic at a crucial moment.
