Hacking the Nav/MFD - Technical Information

Hello, folks

Did anyone get any further with this one?

I believe there are now several folks offering hacks to the headunit with conversion software being offered here https://xanavi.eu/ for a rather steep fee.

My goal is simply to change the language from Japanese to English without the $500 plus US dollar price tag.

Any assistance in this would be awesome

Did you have any luck with this?

The site this guy seems to be using now is https://xanavi.ru/ He has various videos on youtube. One has a link to download some firmware but I'm told it's only an upgrade and if you were to apply it to your car, it'd prompt you for a serial number which you'd have to pay for.
